This adorable advertising giveaway was given to the first 18,000 fans at Yankee Stadium on September 17, courtesy of MetLife. It’s a promotional plush animal version of Snoopy (also MetLife’s mascot) wearing a mini Yankee jersey. These types of family-friendly giveaways are the perfect schwag to use to draw children and families out to the ballpark.

While Marchex isn’t really involved with sports (unless they’re marketing for a related company), this football promo is sure to build some good brand name recognition.

Batter up! Mr. Potato Head has joined the Yankees in the spirit of the upcoming All Star Game. The MLB has commissioned some pretty cool collectibles for ‘08, but this one’s out of the park. The nostalgic Mr. Potato Head is even custom packaged with a special Yankee Stadium Commemorative card!

The Major League Baseball launched “Statues on Parade” in New York City to hype up the drama for the 2008 All Star Game. You can spot the 42 distinctively outfitted replicas all around the city—it’s fun to look for your home team! It gets better. MLB designed these awesome figurines of the lady liberty to be a collector’s item and a keepsake of the ball game. Now that’s some diehard Team Schwag!
