Shark Attack!

http://www4.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Detroit+Red+Wings+v+San+Jose+Sharks+0G8kavGVL_Wl.jpgThe San Jose Sharks scored three goals in 79 seconds to help them claim a 4-3 victory over the Detroit Red Wings in Game 1 of the second-round series in the NHL playoffs. In a crazy game that had it all, fans were clutching their promotional hockey stress balls, as the game was a certain rollercoaster ride, as the Red Wings made a valiant comeback; however it was the Sharks to be victorious, scoring a late goal to claim victory. This playoff season is certainly turning out to be quite a circus act, so hold on to your custom hats, as we gear our way to the Stanley Cup Finals!

Both Football’s Are Going Retro

Well it seems the NFL isn’t the only league trying to bring back retro jerseys. It appears that a team from the other type of football league is going to do the same, namely promotional soccer team Manchester United. Bringing back the custom shirts from their 1980-1 campaign, Manchester United have displayed their new shirts…and they look great. Reintroducing the collar to a soccer jersey is a great idea, as now after every goal, one can pop them in celebration!

The Worst Miss Ever!

Well for promotional soccer highlights, this has to be one of the most embarrassing. Kei Kamara missed an extremely easy opportunity to score when he failed to hit the back of the net when the ball was on the actual goal line! I feel like my two year old nephew could have scored from there, and he has only played with a customized stress ball that’s shaped like a soccer ball! Regardless of this, check out this video and have yourself a laugh or two.

Opinions Wanted

http://dealbreaker.com/_old/images/thumbs/dogs-playing-poker.jpgSo here’s something that has me scratching the back of my head…is poker a sport or does ESPN just show it on their network because of it’s vast following? There’s the lack of intense physical exertion that poses one problem against it being a sport, however the anxiety, strategy and stakes at hand are all qualities that make up a sport. So with that, I leave it to you to help decide. Grab your friends, customized poker chips and logoed playing cards and sit down and have a real game of poker. If it at the end it’s as exhausting as if you’d played a full game of baseball then I’d say that this promotional game is definitely a sport.

Ultimate Fun

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3Gje_GlGNpE/Rq9huervzbI/AAAAAAAAABM/0eY315Riap8/s320/ultimate+frisbee.gifWhen dealing with sports, one doesn’t necessarily have to just discuss the most popular ones that are shown on TV. There are different promotional sports out there that are perfect for everyone, such as ultimate frisbee. An immensely popular game for college students, or park-goers, winging around a custom frisbee is just plain fun…and making a game out of it is even better! Frisbees are super cheap, and make for great personal summer gifts…so there’s really no reason for you to not try playing this sports game!

Draft Day

http://lloydvance.files.wordpress.com/2008/04/nfl-draft-stage-view.jpgWell football fans, the day you’ve been waiting for is finally here. One of the most popular promotional sports events to watch, the NFL Draft will commence in less than 7 hours. Do you know who’s going to put on your team’s customized shirt? With all the speculation that has gone on about the enormous talent amongst the former college stars, this looks to be one of the most exciting drafts in years! So grab your team logoed hat and get ready for all the excitement that comes with the NFL Draft!

Sony and the Beautiful Game

While this may be an advertisement for Sony’s Bravia line of televisions, it still endorses the beautiful game…and it does it in a beautiful way! Using children in a promotional soccer game, Bravia brings you a high definition display with all of the feeling of a World Cup match. The custom advertising video also highlights the fact that this year’s World Cup is less than two months away…so why not watch it with all of your friends and family on a Bravia flat screen!

Spring Solicits Sports!

It’s warm out, in fact, it’s the first time you can go outside and just enjoy yourselves. So in an initiative to promote being healthy, why not grab a group of friends, some promotional sports gear and play some sports? Whether its baseball, basketball or soccer, a little exercise won’t kill you and you’ll have fun doing it! So go on, grab your favorite teams’ custom shirt and logoed hat and pretend you’re the star of the team!

The Race for the Larry O’Brien Trophy

The NBA Playoffs have started off with a bang. Which team will you support to make it through to the final? Will it be LeBron’s year to take the trophy, or will his aims to be the best be thwarted by the likes of Kobe Bryant and the Lakers? Either way, I’m sure you’ll be counting down the minutes until the next round of playoff games start on your customized clocks. It’ll definitely be a stressful run to the finals, as every team in the playoffs this year look good which means many of you will be in need of your promotional basketball stress balls for each game! So grab you teams’ logoed t-shirt, sit back and watch the magic unfold in front of your very eyes!

The Playoffs Are Here

After some thrilling end of the season games, the NHL playoffs are finally here. Who will win? The Capitals look to be unstoppable; however Sid Crosby and the Penguins may have something to say for themselves. This should be an extremely exciting month of hockey playoffs, so grab your customized shirt and logoed hat and support your team. This year’s playoffs look to be highly entertaining, and I have a feeling I’m going to need my promotional hockey stress ball just to get through it.
